Integrate delivered Expat BBQ, a three-story restaurant at City Foundry STL that required extensive structural reinforcement and precise construction coordination. The project included commercial kitchens, meat smokers, a rooftop patio, and the installation of a 4,900-pound concrete elephant on the third floor. Working within a historic building, the team navigated complex logistics, weaving new MEP/FP systems through existing structure while preserving the foundry’s character. Innovative hoisting methods and sequencing enabled placement of heavy equipment and specialty finishes in tight, multi-level spaces. Through close collaboration with Lawrence Group, Integrate completed a highly complex build-out that blends historic preservation with modern functionality.
