Integrate restored a long-vacant historic building into a 650-seat theater with classrooms, modern restrooms, and a new stair and elevator tower providing full accessibility. Years of neglect had left plaster and masonry in severe disrepair, requiring stabilization, reconstruction, and recreation of more than 30 plaster molds by local artisans. Nearly every inch of the building was repaired or replaced, blending historic craftsmanship with modern amenities and upgraded systems. Significant masonry restoration and carefully integrated accessibility features transformed the structure into a vibrant cultural facility. The project received national and local recognition, including a Silver Award from Building Design+Construction and a Most Enhanced Award from the Landmarks Association of St. Louis.
