The Sovereign Received 2026 Most Enhanced Award

Integrate Construction Partners is proud to celebrate The Sovereign as a recipient of Landmarks Association of St. Louis 2026 Most Enhanced Awar.

Long before becoming a concert venue, the building at 3306 Washington Boulevard was part of St. Louis’ thriving “Auto Row.” Designed by prominent St. Louis architect Preston Bradshaw and completed in 1922, the former Beckley-Ralston Building spent decades serving automotive businesses before becoming a printing facility in 1976.

More than 100 years later, Integrate worked alongside affiliate companies New + Found and Lawrence Group to transform the aging structure into a 17,000-square-foot, 1,200-capacity live music venue.

Construction required careful coordination between old and new. Significant structural retrofits, new building systems, window replacement and exterior tuckpointing prepared the building for its next use while preserving its historic character. Inside, the team constructed two bars, a stage, VIP area, two greenrooms and a two-story reception area.

Several historic features also found new purpose. The building’s expansive central warehouse and mezzanine became a natural concert hall, while a garage door added during its automotive era was adapted into a loading dock serving today’s performers.

The Sovereign welcomed its first concertgoers in 2025, bringing a new generation of activity to a building that has been part of Washington Boulevard for more than a century.
