Integrate Construction Partners Completes Kirkwood Ice Arena Renovation

Integrate Construction Partners has completed the renovation of Kirkwood Ice Arena, delivering significant infrastructure and facility upgrades designed to improve the rink’s long-term performance, efficiency, and user experience.

The project centered on modernization of the facility’s aging refrigeration infrastructure, including replacement of the existing R22 refrigerant system with a new ammonia-based system. Additional improvements were made throughout the rink to support more efficient operations and enhance the facility for athletes, visitors, and staff. The renovation also included upgrades to the ice rink floor and supporting systems, new dasher boards and player areas, exterior building improvements, and updated lighting and finishes throughout the facility.

Integrate Construction Partners worked closely with the City of Kirkwood and the project team to coordinate construction within an accelerated schedule. Careful planning and coordination among the project team helped maintain progress throughout construction and deliver the improvements in time for the rink’s upcoming season.

The completed renovation provides Kirkwood with a more modern and efficient ice rink while extending the life and functionality of a beloved community facility.
