Safety
Safety first, always
Safety is our first decision on every job because every person matters. Our priority is ensuring that every worker and partner goes home safe at the end of each day. We empower everyone on site with Stop Work Authority and a culture of accountability, because protecting people is the most important measure of success.
Our Safety Program
We plan safety before we build. Each project starts with a site-specific plan, Job Hazard Analyses, and pre-task planning. Owners, designers, and trade partners align on expectations from day one.
Core practices
• First-day orientations for all on-site personnel
• Weekly toolbox talks and targeted stand-downs
• Mandatory PPE and high-visibility clothing
• Frequent audits with immediate corrections
• Daily huddles to review hazards and controls
Training and qualifications
OSHA 30-hour for teams. First aid and CPR for supervisors. Certified operators for all equipment. Regular refreshers to keep skills sharp.
High-risk work controls
• Crane and critical lifts, steel erection, rigging
• Excavation, trenching, and shoring
• Hot work and fire protection coordination
• Electrical lockout tagout
• Infection control, negative air, and dust containment in healthcare and lab work
Technology
Procore for real-time observations, audits, and reporting. Drone and 360 imagery to improve site visibility. Data trends drive prevention.
Aligned trade partners
Subcontractors are prequalified for safety. We share expectations early, audit together, and coach for continuous improvement.
Continuous improvement
Near-miss reporting is encouraged. Leaders conduct regular safety walks. Lessons learned roll into standards across projects.
Emergency readiness
Every site has an emergency action plan, posted contacts, and drills. We coordinate with facility teams and local authorities.
Why it matters
Safety is about people—not just projects. A strong safety culture means our teams, subcontractors, and partners are protected and cared for. By focusing on individuals first, we create job sites where everyone feels confident, respected, and secure. When people are safe, everything else follows.
